A Special Christmas Greeting

Posted a photo on Facebook recently that said something like, ‘Sometimes Angels come disguised as Friends.’  Lately it seems like I have been surrounded by these special angels.  They are also, kind of like stars, you can’t always see them, but you know they are always there.  

Years ago I fell off my bike, suffered a concussion and landed in the hospital for a week in Lexington, KY.  That was the first time I came to a full understanding of how angelic friends are.  They rose to the occasion, drove the 2 hours to Lexington, kept me cheered up, visited me at home when I was finally released, brought food, kept me company….all that stuff.  It was a heart awakening experience.  I just never realized how completely surrounded I was by these incredible friends.  

And now, once again, their wings are spread.  

Went to see the new movie ‘Collateral Beauty’.  What a heartfelt  message.  From tragedy, sadness, heartache, hard times, look for the collateral beauty….meaning, what comes out of the tough times that is beautiful?   The collateral beauty appearing in my life at the moment….all of my very special friends.  You each know who you are…thank you and Merry Christmas.
