Wrap Up

Well..this is it.  Currently I sit in the Portland Airport awaiting my departure.  I feel a little bipolar at the moment.  On one hand I am ready to head home.  On the other I would love to stay and live in the rain forest.  Yes, I know, the logistics would be a little tricky.

There isn't much I would change about this trip.  I would add Sitka to the itinerary...a very cool little village on the Inside Passage.  However I learned while on board that the village has refused to allow the big ships to dock there...good for them, keep their village the way it has been for years and years.

I would opt for a different kayak partner...one who could speak English would be helpful.

I would like Forks to look like the movie!!

Beyond that, it was perfect.
