Back Again

Well, it's been almost a month. Don't know why I drifted away, but I did and now I'm back. Spring is still, not really here. It is rainy and cold and I am sooooo tired of it. I just want to be out in the yard and helping things grow. Can't do that when it isn't really spring.

We've had a really huge project going on at our house for some time now and it is just about done. Pete contracted to have a retaining wall built around 3 sides of the house. It looks wonderful, but has created 100% more garden beds. I have no idea how I will keep up. There is just a little more to do and the job will be done. It makes a huge difference in the look and feel of the house. I'll put up some photos to show what we are doing.

Golf season is almost here. I just love golf. Could play the game 4 times a day if I could. I am ready for both leagues to get going and for it to get warm enough that I can go to the driving range and enjoy myself, not hunker down in the cold!!! When I retire my big ambition will be to get a part time job at a golf course, doing anything, I don't care what, as long as I can play for free as often as I want!!!

Got a visit in with Alex last week. We decided only on birthdays was not nearly enough, so got Josh and Becca to come out for dinner on a Wednesday evening. That is rare as they are usually running around like crazy. Any way Alex is now totally mobile. He crawls camando style, up on his elbows and his knees.
